Paneer Dhania Korma

Paneer cooked in coriander and yogurt gravy. Cooking Time:  40-50 minutes Servings:  4   Preparation Time:  15-20 minutes   Category:  Veg Ingredients • Cottage cheese (paneer) 600 grams • Fresh coriander leaves 4 tablespoons • Yogurt 1 cup • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon • Dry ginger powder (soonth) 1/4 teaspoon • Green chilli paste 1 teaspoon • Salt to taste • Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon • Oil 2 tablespoons • Bay leaf 3 • Black peppercorns 8 • Green cardamom 7 • Clove 5 • Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon Method Take yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, dried ginger powder, green chilli paste, salt and refined flour in a bowl and mix well. SPLIT SKINLESS BLACK GRAM COOKED DRY WITH ONIONS, TOMATOES AND SPICES. Preparation time: 20 minutes + soaking time Cooking time: 20 minutes Serves: 4 Recipe ingredients:  1 cup split skinless black gram (Dhuli urad dal) ½ tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste 1 tsp cumin seeds A pinch asafetida 1 medium onion sliced fine 2 tomatoes, chopped 2-3 green chilies slit lengthwise 1tbsp ginger juliennes 1tbsp Chopped coriander 1tsp red chili powder ½ tsp garam masala powder 3tbsp vegetable oil 1tbsp lemon juice   Recipe method: Wash and soak the dal for 1 hour. Boil the dal with 3 cups water, salt, half the ginger, turmeric powder and 1tsp oil till cooked but the grains should remain separate and the dal should not turn mushy at all. Cooking Time:  10-15 minutes Servings:  4   Preparation Time:  15-20 minutes   Category:  Veg Ingredients • Corn kernels,canned 1 1/2 cups   • Oil 4 tablespoons   • Onions,chopped 2 medium   • Fresh mint leaves 15-20   • Fresh coriander leaves a few sprigs   • Cooked rice 1 1/2 cups   • Potatoes,boiled, peeled and mashed 2 medium   • Salt to taste   • Green chillies,chopped 2   • Crushed red chillies 1/2 teaspoon   • Fresh bread crumbs 1 cup   Method Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non stick pan. Add onions and sauté. Drain the corn and put in a bowl. Finely chop coriander and mint leaves. When the onions turn a light brown, add it to the corn.
