Ingredients
Refined flour (maida)1 1/2 cups
Dry yeast1 1/2 teaspoons
Sugar1 teaspoon
Salt1 teaspoon
Oil1 tablespoon
Method
Take one fourth cup of water and heat on Microwave HIGH (100%) for half a minute. Mix yeast with warm water and sugar and leave aside until frothy. Add frothy yeast to refined flour. Add salt and oil and mix. Add approximately half a cup of water more and knead into soft dough. Leave the dough covered with a damp cloth in a warm place for about forty five minutes or until the dough is about double in volume. Knead the dough again and keep for ten to fifteen minutes covered with a moist muslin cloth. Preheat the convection oven to 200 C. Divide pizza dough into four, roll out each portion into medium thick eight inch diametre discs. Prick them with a fork all over. Grease a baking tray with fat and place the pizza bases over it. Bake it in the preheated oven for eight minutes.
